# Dock project budget worksheet

Compare the starting prices of selected Candock kits in Canada with your own supplier quote. Enter delivery, installation and other costs from written quotes. The published kit span is not an installed-project range.

## How to use it

1. Choose base equipment amount.
2. Enter your equipment quote in cad.
3. Enter quoted delivery, installation, anchors and other extras in cad.
4. Enter tax amount not already included, in cad.
5. Read the result.

## How it works

Source: Candock, https://candock.com/, fetched 2026-10-29. The Canadian page lists a linear kit from CAD 9,249.60 and a U-shape kit from CAD 23,722.40. These are different products, not low and high quotes for the same scope.

Add only amounts from current written quotes. Confirm whether tax, anchoring, installation and delivery are included before you enter extras. Zero means no amount entered; it does not mean the work is free.

Formula: equipment base plus entered extras plus entered tax. All inputs use CAD. No currency conversion, contingency, inferred labour rate or local permit fee is applied.

## Questions

### Is this an installed dock estimate?

No. It adds selected published equipment prices or your quote to amounts you enter. It cannot price site work that has not been quoted.

### Can I use a quote in another currency?

This worksheet displays CAD. Obtain CAD amounts before using it; it does not convert currencies.
